1. Before you delete
Export any schedule you want to keep. Clearing data cannot be undone unless you have a separate copy. If you use multiple devices, turn off Schedia sync on each device first to avoid an older copy syncing back.
2. Change system permissions
Open iOS Settings → Apps → Schedia, then adjust notifications, location, camera, photos or calendar access. Menu names vary by system version. Disabling a permission affects the related feature; it does not delete your timetable.
Location set to Never stops distance checks and location reminders. Notifications can be disabled separately. Privacy lock uses the system's device authentication; Schedia does not receive biometric data.
3. Delete data on this device
- In Schedia, open Settings → Data.
- Choose Clear selected data to remove a category, or Clear all data to return to a fresh state.
- Read the confirmation and complete the deletion.
Deleting the app removes its local app data. Removing the app is different from offloading it, which may preserve data. Local deletion does not by itself remove your iCloud copy, exported files, shared images, or entries previously exported to the system calendar.
4. Stop iCloud sync
Turn off iCloud sync in Schedia. This stops future sync; it does not automatically erase data already stored in your private CloudKit database.
5. Delete the iCloud copy
Open iOS Settings → your Apple Account → iCloud → Manage Account Storage, find Schedia, and use the available data deletion option. The wording may differ by iOS version. Keep sync off on other devices until their old copies have also been dealt with.
6. Diagnostics and calendar feeds
In Me → Diagnostics, delete individual reports or clear them all. Reports expire after seven days on the device. You can turn diagnostic recording off there too.
Calendar feeds refresh only when you ask; Schedia does not refresh them in the background. Removing a local feed does not remove the calendar hosted by your institution. Manage that feed or its access token with the provider if needed.
7. Copies you exported or shared
Delete saved schedule images or card photos in Photos, exported files in Files, and exported classes in the Schedia calendar in your calendar app. Manage copies sent to another person or an AI service with that recipient or provider. Those copies are outside Schedia's local storage.
8. Help and support correspondence
The developer cannot access or delete your private iCloud database and does not hold an app account profile for you. For help with these steps, or to request deletion of emails and attachments you previously sent to support, contact mcwhirl@qq.com. Never send your device passcode, Apple Account password or calendar access tokens.
